The
Club hours are:
- Monday : Closed
- Tuesday to Friday : 9 am – 3 pm
- Saturday to Sunday : 8 am – 6 pm

Except kayak,
only MYC members and their guests are allowed to use Club boats and
facilities. MYC members may invite the same guest only three (3) times
in a year. A guest is not longer eligible for invitation by ANY member
once he or she has visited the club three (3) times in a year. |

Membership/Annual
Fee is Rp. 150.000,-/ person |
4. |
Sailing
charge are following:
- MYC Member
Any Sailing Equipment Rp.10.000,- (per day)
- Non Member
Green Kayak Rp. 20.000,- (per 2 hours)
Yellow Kayak Rp. 15.000,- (per 2 hours)

5. |
Boat usage per
member is restricted to a maximum of 4 hours per day to allow every
member access to boats. |
6. |
Club members
who wish to take non members for a sail must do so from MYC and not
from other locations. This is to insure boats are available for members
first; that no damage occurs to boats attempting to beach away from
MYC; and to insurance our caretaker is aware of your general location
in case of accident or mechanical problems. |

Before using
the boat and its equipment a member must properly fill in a log book
at the Club House |
8. |
Every person
using a Club boat must wear a life jacket. There is no exception to
this rule |
9. |
All yacht must
be within sight and reasonable distance (i.e. ½ mile) from
the Matano Yacht Club by 4.30 p.m. and be beached by 5.30 p.m. Disciplinary
action will be taken for abuse of this rule. |
10. |
Yacht not sighted
by 5.00 p.m will be reported to the Committee by the caretaker. Then
The Committee will notify Safety Officer on call (9999) who will organize
a search and rescue operation |
11. |
For the safety
of all boat users, attention should be paid to the maximum load capacity
of each type of boat;
- Yellow kayak (single seater) : 68 kg
- Green kayak (double seater) : 193 kg
- Hobie Cat one-12 : 250 kg
- Hobie Wave/Catamaran : 360 kg

12. |
MYC sailing equipment
are not allowed to be used by children under 13 years of age unless
they are accompanied by a competent adult or have the expressed permission
of the committee. |

Boats are
not to be run up on the beach. |
14. |
Do not leave
your boat unattended as it will sail away without you. The boat user
must lift his boat on the shore after use. The last boat user must
observe club hours and make sure your boat is beached, de-rigged,
and the sailing equipment stored before closing time in the sail room. |
15. |
Any damage caused
to a boat must be reported to Carataker and entered in the sailing
log book the day the damage occurs. Any damage not reported but found
subsequent will be considered a result of negligence and if traceable,
the repair charges may be charged to the sailor’s MYC account |
16. |
For sailing equipment
which is signed out by a member and which is lost (i.e. not returned)
and which can not be fabricated locally, the replacement cost of the
equipment will be charged to the member who lost the equipment. |
17. |
The club water
front is available for swimming and recreation. Outgoing and incoming
boats and sail board have the right-of-way at all times. Please exercise
caution (sailors and parents) when small children are in the water. |
18. |
No alcohol
consumed before and during sailing with MYC equipment. |
19. |
Carataker
is not responsible to rig or de-rig the boats. Children having difficulty
may however ask for his assistance. |
